The Guru Nanak Council of Zambia proudly upholds a half-generation tradition of Trust, Respect, and Contribution across Zambian Communities. Established in the 1970’s, our Esteemed Trustee’s have maintained a deep connection and understanding of the Zambian communities needs, and taken great honour in delivering support, and a nurturing hand in many arenas - with the guidance of our spiritual leader Guru Nanak, accompanied by his holy scripture “Guru Granth Sahib”, which we adhere to and live by as Sikhs. We virtuously operate our Gurudwara with the utmost Pride. The GNCZ Gurudwara is located in Olympia, Lusaka, along Mumana Rd. We welcome all fellow humans to our faith and Temple of Worship, so that we may progress together towards a nurtured community of love and respect. In line with our faiths 3 core pillars of: Naam Japna (Remember God), Kirat Karni (Earn Honestly), Vand Chakna (Share with Others). We believe in living by the virtues prescribed by our Guru’s, and their Holy Scripture.
The Sikh way of life rests on three pillars of faith. These timeless teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspire how we live, work, and serve others every day.
